A pet-friendly hotel, even for pets with health issues

At the Medicanima SCINTIVET clinic, our goal is to provide comprehensive care for every pet. That’s why we’ve decided to expand our services for you and are now offering a pet hotel under the Medicanima brand. It is located in Prague 10 – Strašnice, in a separate building adjacent to the SCINTIVET clinic.
Whether your pet is suffering from an ailment and requires ongoing medication or is in perfect health, we’re here for everyone!

Our nurses and doctors will provide them with comprehensive, personalized care throughout their stay, allowing you to set off on your long-awaited vacation with peace of mind—or simply take a break from the challenges of providing care.

We can take excellent care of all animals—not just dogs and cats, but also rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and other small mammals.

Of course, we have separate rooms for dogs and cats to prevent them from encountering each other and to avoid unnecessary stressful situations. We usually house small mammals in the cat section.
Unfortunately, we are not equipped to accommodate birds, reptiles, or other exotic animals.

Individual care for everyone

We are prepared to care for a diverse group of animals with a wide range of needs. Every animal is unique, with its own specific needs and different issues that bring them to us. That is why we treat each patient individually and, with the utmost professionalism, create a customized care plan to ensure comprehensive care.

Our hotel has a limited capacity of 6 beds in the cat and small mammal section and 6 beds in the dog section, so that we can provide each animal guest with the utmost care and personalized attention.

DOGS

For the dogs in our care, we prioritize peace, comfort, and personalized service. Each dog has a customized routine, and regular walks and plenty of rest in a safe environment are a given. We can easily handle any medication and ensure adherence to daily routines, and on-site veterinary supervision is available. Our loving staff members care for the dogs with the utmost attention and keep you updated with photos and messages.

CATS

We provide a calm, safe environment for cats, along with personalized care that respects their nature and habits. The cat room is, of course, separate from the dog room. Each cat has a customized routine and plenty of space to rest and play, as needed. Administering any medication and strictly adhering to the daily routine are a given; located above the hotel is the fully equipped clinic of Dr. Martina Načeradská, a leading expert in feline medicine. Daily reports in the form of photos and messages are provided as a matter of course.

OTHERS

We are also happy to care for smaller pets, such as ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and other small mammals. We provide them with a calm and safe environment, regular care, and meals tailored to their habits and individual needs, so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

Team

Your pet will be cared for by an experienced team of veterinarians and veterinary technicians from our Medicanima and Medicanima SCINTIVET clinics, as well as Martina Načeradská’s clinic. The hotel accepts healthy pets, as well as pets that require regular medical care (medication administration, increased care needs, limited mobility, etc.).

We do not accept patients who are infectious. For animals with infectious diseases or those requiring intensive care, we offer hospitalization at our clinic in Palmovka, where we are specially equipped to handle such cases.

Price List

I’ll take care of your pet in any situation—whether you need to leave them with us just for the day while you’re at work, or for several days. There are no restrictions on the length of stay—no minimum or maximum duration. Your pet can bring their favorite toys, or you can provide their favorite food or the bedding they’re used to. We’ll fully accommodate your needs.

The stay fee applies to dogs and cats

1,200 CZK for short-term stays of up to 12 hours—for example, while you are at work
1,900 CZK per day for stays longer than 12 hours

For small mammals (ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.), prices are half, i.e., 600 CZK / 950 CZK

Prices include VAT.

We are currently offering a special introductory rate for stays through the 31. 8. 2026 !!!

For stays of 2 consecutive days or less, the total accommodation price is reduced by 15%
For stays longer than 2 days, the total accommodation price is reduced by 30%
